Bars and Bells

Normally, you can only find the classic fruit symbol theme on old-style slot designs. And that's fine – if the theme fits, play it! But with a smaller gameplay area and sometimes just one pay line, there's not much action. But with Bars and Bells, Amaya has developed a video slot that gives players the best of both worlds, and it's a fun ride from start to finish.

The game has five reels and three rows in a standard grid, and it features 20 pay lines. You'll see them indicated on the sides of the grid – but those numbers are how many coins you've bet on each line, not the pay line number. Simply click or tap on each one to see where it pays out.

Icons include cherries, lemons, plums, watermelons and sevens. Plus single, double, and triple bars.

Golden bells are the wild card and can substitute for anything you need (except for the scatter) to make a win. Meanwhile, the Bars and Bells game logo is the scatter. When at least three appear on the reels, you'll trigger free spins. But these symbols only show up on reels two, three and four.

Randomly, Shake and Pay will turn up on the reels. It awards a cash bonus of up to 5,000 credits. Not bad – and something you won't see on a classic style game. Also, you can pay five credits more to turn on Streak Breaker for each twenty credits bet. With Streak Breaker, during your next five spins, one of them will be guaranteed to be a winner. It's a great way to catch a big break – but it's not a feature that can be triggered during free spins.
