Chibeasties
The lush design, fun characters and, of course, the chance of big wins keeps us coming back again and again to Chibeasties, the slot machine game from Yggdrasil. And from the feedback we've had from our customers, we're not the only ones!
One of the things we like - and it's a small thing - is that the game's five reels are suspended against the background as opposed to in their own grid. It makes the gameplay feel spacious, especially when playing on a smaller device. The designs of the symbols are so detailed, if there were a grid the screen would be too crowded.
Speaking of those detailed symbols, there are the eponymous Chibeasties, alien-like critters that are too cute for their own good. The wild is a glowing stone, while the free spin is a wooden critter sign in glasses. Other symbols include otherworldly pods and plants.
Three free spin signs trigger 10 free spins; with four you get 20, and with five there's a generous 40 free spins. While in Free Spin Mode, one symbol is chosen at random and when it appears, it expands to fill the entire reel. This helps with additional wins.
As for the wild symbol, it's the usual substitution feature, and it pays the highest winning combination from left to right. There are 20 pay lines in total. Payouts range from four coins for three of a kind of the pod symbols, to 750 coins for five of a kind of the horned Chibeastie.
Another feature we love with Chibeasties is that in the settings, it's possible to set up the auto play to stop when certain parameters are met. It's really helpful, especially if you're new to auto play.
