We're tempted to say that Cosmic Cat is a retro-themed game, given that its design is similar to that of a one-armed bandit that you'd see in the wild. There is the small reel grid, the on-screen pay table, and the large game logo that are the hallmarks of this genre. It's simple, classic, and lots of fun for a certain kind of player.
But it's also retro in another way: the green-on-black writing in some parts, and the old-school computer font in other parts, lead us to call it a retro game when it comes to computer graphics, too!
