Hellboy

Hellboy was originally a DC comics character and, because of his popularity, has since spawned an empire. He's been featured in two – and soon to be three – movies starring Stranger Things' David Harbour in the title role. Hellboy has been in both Injustice and Injustice 2 video games, as well as Asylum Seeker and The Science of Evil. Now Microgaming has brought him to the land of slots – and hell has never been so heavenly.

The game has five reels and three rows. There are 20 pay lines.

Icons include ace, king, queen, jack and ten, all rendered in the Hellboy comic font. The themed icons include the pyro-kinetic Liz Sherman, the ectoplasmic Johann Kraus, the semi-aquatic Abe Sapien, and the dead-clever professor, Trevor Bruttenholm. Plus the Hellboy himself, of course.

The Hellboy game logo is wild and can substitute for any icon you need to make a win except for the scatter. It pays out 100 for three on the reels, 1,000 coins for four, and 10,000 for five.

Three of Hellboy's right hand of doom will trigger the Underworld Bonus round. Your mission is to travel through the Underworld and battle dangerous beasts to secure the Relic of Power and win bonus rewards. There are four levels to this bonus game, and there is only one pick per level. Choose wisely!

Randomly, Hellboy will run across the reels, activating Supermode. When this happens you get 10 free spins with three extra wild cards. 

As if that wasn't enough, each win also triggers an optional Gamble feature, which is fairly standard for seasoned slot players – choose a red or black playing card to double your win, or the card's suit to win four times your most recent win.
