Jackpot 6000 is one of our favorite retro slot games to play online. It may just be the most realistic seeming design shy of live gaming.
Almost the entire gameplay is inside the slot machine itself, which lends to the being-there vibe. And unlike the themed games with cutscenes and story lines, thus machine is set against a background of a slots lounge in casino, complete with a pitted plant and low lighting. Even the sounds of the game sound exactly like an old slot machine – the kind of sound that all blends together when you enter a casino. It really took us back there!
There are three reels and three rows with five pay lines. Symbols include all the standards, including cherries, lemons, bells and stars. The Joker symbol is a wild. You choose the coin amount by tapping on coins near the bottom coin slot, and the in-game buttons are actual buttons at the base of the machine.
Above the reels is the payout grid, just like with a real slot. The base payouts are three of a kind of standard symbols, ranging from 20 coins for cherries to 100 coins for stars.
And then there's the supermeter. This is when getting just two Jokers wins you a mystery treasure chest. You can win from 50x-100x your bet. When three Jokers come up on the reels, you've hit the Jackpot 6000 – a whopping 6,000 coins.
One final note before you head off to play – Jackpot 6000's return to player rate differs a lot depending on whether you bet the minimum on the maximum amount. While on maximum there is up to a decent 98.9% return, on minimum it doesn't even break 80 percent (79.2% to be exact). So we would recommend this game only for those who are comfortable betting the max every time.
