Jewel Box
We love Play 'n Go! And we love Jewel Box, their latest title in their very own jewel box of a portfolio. Far from the likes of an animated Bejeweled, this slot machine game shows realistic gems and finished pieces that would make any woman swoon.
There are five reels, three rows and 15 pay lines. The pay lines work right to left as well as left to right, a favorite feature of this game. You can check them out from the menu icon on the playing screen, where they can all be seen at a glance.
Icons include diamond ring, earring, a pearl necklace, and various colored gems (diamond, ruby, sapphire and emerald). They are all set against a rich maroon velvet background, and glimmer in the light.
The wild icons come with multipliers from two times your winnings to five times your winnings. They can substitute for any icon you need for a win. With their multipliers, they are clutch in this game. But of course, scatters are excluded from this feature.
The jewel box is that scatter, and three of them will trigger the bonus game. Get them on the first, third and fifth reels and they will expand to fill up the screen. Pick a box and you'll be rewarded with a bunch of credits.
After each time you win in regular gameplay, there is a gamble feature. A gold frame will appear on top of the reels, showing a deck of cards. You can choose whether the card that is turned over will be red or black, and a winning guess will double your most recent win. Or, choose which of the four suits the card will have, and you can quadruple your win. But lose, and you lose it all.
