Odysseus

Playson has designed a new online slot machine game called Odysseus, and as you can guess, it takes its inspiration from the Greek king of Ithaca and the hero of the Odyssey, the epic poem by Homer. Join the king as he sails the seas and fights legendary battles.

The game has five reels and three rows in a sail's frame on a traditional wooden boat traveling the Mediterranean Sea. There are 30 pay lines, indicated by small yellow arrows along each side of the reels' grid. You can touch/mouse over them to see where they fall on the grid, or simply go behind the “i” icon to see the entire pay table at a glance.

There are no royal cards in the game's symbols. Instead, you'll see a soldier's helmet, a lyre, a terracotta vase, an ancient coin, and a laurel wreath. The symbols with the larger payouts include a shield, a fully dressed soldier, the Trojan Horse, and Odysseus himself.

The ship is the wild card, and can substitute for any icon you need (except the scatter) to build a win. A statue of the legendary Helen of Troy is the scatter. Three Helens yield you 10 free spins; four Helens will result in 25 free spins; and 100 free spins is the reward for five Helens on the reels. And if at least three of her appear on the reels during the free spins round, the whole thing is re-triggered and you get more free spins.

The minimum bet is one credit. The maximum bet is 600 credits. You can bet the maximum (credits and lines) with one click of the MAX button, or adjust your bet incrementally using the up/down arrows or using the drop-down menu behind the “Bet” window.
