Ramesses Riches is a new title from Microgaming developers. This slot machine game gets its inspiration from the name given to Egyptian Pharoahs. While there are many Egypt-themed slots out there, it's always worth giving a NextGen game a shot – even if the extras are a bit lacking here. There are no progressive jackpots or bonus games, but the wild and scatter are very generous, and there is a 95.425% return to player rate.

The game itself is beautifully designed, as we have come to expect from Microgaming. Icons include nine, ten, jack, queen, king, ace, plus symbols from the Egyptian legends – Ramesses, an Ankh, Bastet, Isis, Eye of Horus, and Scrolls. The minimum bet in Ramesses Riches is .02 credits, and the maximum is 100 credits. There are five reels and 20 pay lines, which reward wins from left to right. The playing field is clean and bright, with the settings behind the cog icon in the upper right corner.

Ramesses himself is the wild card. He can turn into any icon you need to get a win, except for the scatter symbol. Best of all, your win will be double what it normally would be. Five Ramesses on the reels awards 5,000 coins, but just two also pays out, albeit 10 coins.

Ankhs are the scatter symbol. When at least three appear on the game's reels, it triggers four free spins for each Ankh.
