Rook's Revenge
You'd be forgiven, based on this game's title, for thinking that Rook's Revenge was a slot machine game based on chess. But it's not. Betsoft has instead made this 3D video slot about Chief Rook of the Aztecs, a fictional character who seeks treasure in the rain forests of Mexico.
Chief Rook joins the player in this adventure, dancing and cheering you on from the bottom right of the screen with sometimes hilarious animation. The playing field is a five-reel, three-row grid of Aztec symbols (with 25 pay lines and 31 winning combinations), each uniquely drawn and each with their own payouts, along with wilds and scatters.
For example, a gold mask is the scatter, and matching three of them along the first three pay lines will earn you a whopping ten free spins. During these spins, you can win big with each additional winning spin, from 3x to 15x. There is also a wild symbol, which looks like a question mark, and it can appear on the third, fourth and fifth reels. As you can imagine, Wilds help you make winning combinations – including with scatters.
