Roulette is a game that combines a little bit of skill and a whole lot of excitement. The skill comes in the law of averages, meaning when a number will be hot based on what's already come up on the wheel. But it's the excitement that keeps players coming back for more, as they rush to place their lucky bets while the ball travels its way around the wheel. Will it land on your lucky number? You'll have to play to find out!
You have 36 numbers on the board and one zero. (Only American roulette wheels have two zeros.)
You can bet “inside” on a given number or numbers for a high-stakes win. This includes betting on two numbers with one chip, by placing it on the line between them; or on a “corner,” where you place the chip on the meeting point between four numbers.
Or, you can bet on the outside. This allows you to bet black and red, odds or evens, on one half of the board (1-18, 19-36), or on one-third or two-thirds of the board (1-12, 13-24, 25-36). And then there's betting the “street,” or one full strip of numbers. It's a different way to play a third of the board, as it doesn't go by number, but by board position.
The amount you'll win on “outside” bets will be lower than if you bet on the numbers themselves, but your odds of winning will be higher.
You can also mix and match inside and outside bets. When you move your chips over to where you want to bet, it will highlight the numbers you've bet on. This makes it easy to keep track.
Chips start at .10 credits and go up to 1,000 credits.
