Single Deck Blackjack Multi-Hand is a fairly easy way to play Blackjack online. While the payout for Blackjack is less than in traditional video card games, the odds of winning are higher, which more than makes up for it.
In a regular Blackjack round, the dealer deals from six 52-card decks shuffled together. In Single Deck Blackjack, he deals from one deck. This makes it easier to see what cards have already been played and make a much more informed bet.
The difference is that with the standard rules, getting Blackjack pays out 3:2. In the single deck version, it only pays out 6:5. In addition, you can only split once – and any Blackjack that results after a split is counted as a 21, and not a Blackjack. In this instance, for example, the dealer's Blackjack would win against you.
On the other hand, at any point before the dealer turns up his down card, you can surrender. This results in losing only half of your bet. Should you get a tie, that will result in a push. (Note: This also counts if both the dealer and player have Blackjack.)
The player has the option to bet from 1 to 100 credits per hand. Because this is a multi-hand experience, three hands can be played at once.
Playing with just a single deck is a great way to start off counting cards – because you have one-sixth the amount of cards to deal with. You can figure out how many face cards are out there and calculate your odds. And practice makes perfect.
So if you are new to this kind of action, try out Single Deck Blackjack Multi-Hand – and learn your skills while potentially winning money.
