The first unique aspect of this game is that the screen has two playing grids, and it's all set in front of a roiling sea with the Argo sailing full ahead. Each of them spins at the same time. They each have five reels and three rows. Each board has 25 pay lines, which makes for a total of 50 pay lines per game. The minimum bet is .25 credits, and the maximum bet is 100 credits per spin.
Icons include three different runes, an axe, a hammer, a young viking girl and boy, and four different bearded viking warriors. On a one-euro bet they pay out between .16 and 16 coins. It's not much, but in this game, the features more than make up for the low payouts.
Randomly, the Wild Ship feature will occur, causing a wave to lap up onto the reels, putting ships as wild cards on them. A golden shield is also wild, appearing only during the free games feature. If two shields end up on top of each other, it will trigger a multiplier.
Red catapults and green cannons are your scatter icons. With at least three on the reels you'll be rewarded with six free spins. If you get a red catapult, it will put a shield onto the green board. If you get a green cannon, it will put a shield onto the red board. This gives you more wilds to play with, and more opportunities to win.
